  • The activities carried out within the framework of the 1st IDEAL PhD Summer School took place at the IMDEA Nanociencia facilities.
  • During these sessions, Ideal fellows received a formal welcome, a specialized training and came to a social event in the afternoon.

Madrid, September 24th, 2024. The students received a formal welcome by Prof. Emilio Pérez, executive director of IMDEA Nanociencia.

The Summer School included a training in Core Skills in communication, time and project management offered by TMP Science for the IDEAL fellows, , The last day of the School, all PhDs enjoyed a cultural visit to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid.

The IDEAL PhD Programme aims to boost the careers of talented researchers offering them an innovative, intersectoral and truly interdisciplinary training in nanoscience and nanotechnology. IMDEA Nanociencia is committed to providing a pool of researchers with the skills and knowledge needed to tackle the next challenges in the field nanoscience.
