What do we offer
We offer a total of 6 grants for each call, 12 in total. IDEAL PhD Doctoral candidates will be considered Marie Skłodowska-Curie doctoral candidates and they will be hired on a fulltime standard employment contract for the duration of 42 months.
Through their contracts, doctoral candidates will be affiliated to the Spanish Social Security General Regime that guarantees them and their immediate family members, or assimilated persons, social security under the circumstances and situations defined by law, namely: public health care coverage and medical assistance, temporary/permanent disability, maternity/paternity, permanent non-incapacitating injuries, retirement, family benefits, such as financial allocation per dependent child or fostered minor, unemployment benefits.
What can be funded
The living allowance (salaries, social security contributions, taxes and other costs included in the remuneration), and the mobility allowance for the benefit of the researchers. Other cost items (such as research costs, travel, family and mobility allowances, and indirect costs) may be paid to the researchers in order to complement this contribution.
- Average annual gross salary of € 24,600
- Mobility allowance of €2,400 (paid over the first 12 months, included in average salary).
- Research, and travel costs up to € 900/month (managed by the institution)
- Family Allowance of € 100 per month per child (up to 2 children)
