Madrid, 14th of December, 2022. The IDEAL PhD programme (IMDEA-Nanociencia Doctoral Programme in Nanoscience) for attracting talent at IMDEA Nanociencia opens soon – January- the first call for applications.
IDEAL PhD programme is a new doctoral training programme promoted by Fundación IMDEA Nanociencia (IMDEA Nano) that aims to attract 12 talented researchers in two open calls to undertake excellent research in any of the programmes at the Institute: P1 Nanotechnology for energy harvesting, P2 Quantum materials at the nanoscale, P3 Nanotechnology for healthcare, P4 Nanomagnetism for Information and Communication Technologies, P5 Ultrafast phenomena at the nanoscale and P6 Nanotechnology for critical raw materials and sustainability.
The chosen fellows will carry out 42 month projects and they will be able to choose a partner organization to develop a secondment (between 3 and 6 months). The intersectoral, international partner organizations will offer the fellows a chance to build their curriculum, gaining experience outside of an academic environment if they choose to do so.
The requirements for doctoral candidates to join this programme are to have completed an official university degree that gives access to doctoral studies -at the date of deadline- and to not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain for more than 12 months in the last 3 years before the call deadline. The candidates are called to check the Eligibility Criteria before sending their applications.
