Accordingly, we plan to synthesize and rationalize the expression of magnetic or complex phases of matter in 1D and 2D organic and metal-organic materials on surfaces.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text disabled_on=&#8221;off|off|off&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.9.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;||29px|||&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><strong>POSITION DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The project would be expected to centre on simulations and co-rationalization of the results from experiments obtained from a multidisciplinary approach towards the understanding of pi-conjugated organic nanomaterials on surfaces. Such experimental challenges include a variety of state-of-the-art techniques including scanning probe microscopies, ARPES\/Spin-ARPES, and synchrotron radiation.<\/p>\n<p>The researcher will take part in the discussion of the experiments, analysis of data and dissemination of results. A virtuous and continuous feed-back with the experimental members of team is expected. A typical fellow\u2019s profile would be a background in density functional theory and simulations of images obtained by scanning probe techniques.
