Where do you come from?<\/strong><\/p>\nIsfahan. Ir\u00e1n.<\/p>\n
What are your main personal and professional concerns?<\/strong><\/p>\nMy main personal concerns are maintaining a healthy work-life balance, adapting to new environments and ensuring stability and job security.<\/p>\n
On the professional side, I am most concerned with pursuing impactful and<\/u> innovative research that contributes meaningfully to worldwide health challenges, particularly in the field of cancer theranostics.<\/p>\n
What does your research consist on?<\/strong><\/p>\nNanoimmunotherapy in general. Nano drug\/biomolecule delivery to lymphoid organs to regulate immune responses for fighting both primary and metastatic cancer cells indirectly.<\/p>\n
What power does science have to transform the world?<\/strong><\/p>\nReshaping how we approach health, energy and the environment. Due to the special quantum, plasmonic and surface-to-ratio properties, it has the power of changing and renovating our conventional thinking, sight and strategies to address challenges in different areas by providing novel simplified solutions.<\/p>\n
Where do you find inspiration?<\/strong><\/p>\nIn both purposes and people. Statistics about the incidence and mortality of cancers and other lethal diseases and having contact with patients and their families; and professionally, attending international congresses, meeting with pioneers in my field and knowing about their discoveries and efforts inspire me to contribute more actively.<\/p>\n
Where do you see yourself in the future?<\/strong><\/p>\nI see myself as a researcher actively contributing to the development of innovative clinically relevant solutions in cancer treatment and expanding my research and discoveries to other fields like cardiovascular diseases.<\/p>\n
Why IMDEA Nanociencia?<\/strong><\/p>\nBecause it is an internationally recognized center that brings interdisciplinary expertise in different aspects of nanoscience together. It offers cutting-edge facilities and collaborative environment. Its string focus on applying nanoscience to health and medicine aligns closely with my goals.<\/p>\n
